2008 - current Jim Metzner Productions Inc
Key team contributor for the Pulse of the Planet radio series and the Kids' Science Challenge (KSC) new media project, both funded by the National Science Foundation. Project responsibilities include: planning and executing marketing efforts; all aspects of print advertising; video production for webcasts; collaborative web design and development for which the KSC website received a Parents' Choice Award; search engine optimization (SEO); copywriting; as well as database management, bookkeeping, and payroll. In 2009 - produced over 20 webcasts for the KSC website. Aided by all these efforts, the KSC (with a comparatively smaller team and budget) succeed in engaging a larger audience than any other national science challenge of its kind, even in its first year. In the challenge's second year entries more than doubled. The challenge has received the most press (including the Today Show) than any National Science Foundation funded project of a its kind.

In 2008 - Creative director and designer for this non-profit’s national advertising campaign; program developer and supervisor. In 2006 - Graphic designer. In 2004 - PR rep and creative director for ad campaign: generated sponsorship; stimulated and organized volunteer efforts. Program Coordinator: scheduled 8 events in a multi-venue tour across the United States. On-site program facilitator for a number of scheduled events in New York and California. These efforts greatly aided the success of this fund-raising tour resulting in over $100,000 in tax-deductable donations.

2005 - 2006 Gateway Communication Industries
Instructor and facilitator for multimedia projects: guided at-risk high school students in all stages of production for two anti-smoking movies. Pre-production instruction included Internet research skills, storyboarding and scriptwriting. Production instruction included the principles of videography, camera use, an introduction into special effects using a green screen, and use of audio input devices. Post-production instruction focused on learning software programs Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator. Provided DVD authoring, DVD replication, and graphic design services. The students' finished productions drew attention and acclaim. The Ulster County Department of Health distributed DVDs to all all elementary and middle schools in Ulster County.
